Position : Vice-President - Marketing & Public Relations
The Vice President – Marketing and Public Relations is actively involved in developing marketing awareness for the company’s products and in generating a general awareness of the importance of advanced reading skills as a weapon against declining productivity and deteriorating general knowledge. This involves media liaison, publicity, media announcement preparation and distribution, and client liaison, as well as the preparation and dissemination of general interest articles and papers relating to reading skills at the business and academic levels. Areas of responsibility include the overall management of the company’s marketing & public relations activities in the USA, Canada, South Africa, England and Europe. Because of the size of the USA office, this position includes that of office manager and a hands-on involvement in every aspect of the business.

This is a key position within the organization and the incumbent's duties are essential to the continued growth, development and expansion of the company. This executive position requires the following skills & qualifications :

  • Excellent reading, writing and speaking skills in the English language – both American and British.

  • A working knowledge of conversational German, Flemish and Dutch.

  • Excellent design and graphic skills.
  • Good photographic skills as well as the skills to edit and manipulate photographs to prescribed resolution settings as required by the print media in the various countries where the company operates.
  • A graduate of the Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics 8-week Course and the Speed Reading International SuperReading Course with an above-average high-speed reading rate.
  • Excellent organizational skills necessary for the identification, sourcing and booking of courses.
  • Sound book-keeping skills and the ability to formulate budgets, issue invoices, manage tuition fee receipts, collect outstanding debts and perform bank account reconciliations.
  • Top-level marketing skills and a sound knowledge of the print & electronic media in the various countries where the company is active.
  • Excellent event-management skills.
  • Because of the time-differences between the USA office in Charlotte NC and the various offices where the company has agents or operations, the incumbent must be available to perform her duties when required, whether this be during regular office hours or not. As such, the incumbent is required to reside in Charlotte NC within reasonable proximity of the company's offices.

- Remuneration : circa US$20k - US$30k pa



Position : President / CEO / Director of Instruction
The President / CEO / Director of Teaching Instruction is actively involved in the design, development and presentation of the company’s products and in generating a general awareness of the importance of advanced reading skills as a weapon against declining productivity and deteriorating general knowledge. This involves ongoing liaison with corporations, non-profits, schools, colleges and universities, as well as training assignments primarily within the USA. As Director of Teaching Instruction, the incumbent oversees the implementation of new methodologies and techniques to companies outside the USA such as Canada, South Africa, England and the Far East, where the company has a business presence.

This is a key position within the organization and the incumbents duties are essential to the continued growth, development and expansion of the company. This executive position requires the following skills & qualifications :
  • Excellent reading, writing and speaking skills in the English language – both American and British.

  • Excellent design and graphic skills.
